JOB TITLE: Social Work Assistant

JOB PURPOSE:  Under the supervision of the Director of Social Work coordinates admissions and assists with Social Work duties, including solving problems for the resident or family which prevent the resident’s social adjustment, or any other problems with affect his/her ability to benefit from his/her stay in the facility.

EDUCATION:  Possess an Associate’s of Arts Degree in Humanities & Social Services.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:  Possess a valid New York State Driver’s License.

EXPERIENCE:  Possess experience in long-term care and/or healthcare.

PREFERRED:  Possess experience in geriatric long-term care.

SHIFT: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM       STATUS: 40 HOURS (fulltime)

RATE OF PAY: $22.92 – $34.39  /  HOUR
