This grant was used to purchase a CuddleCot™ for the hospital’s Birthing Center, enhancing the quality of care provided to families experiencing infant loss. Books for Babies – 2024 Posted on April 24, 2024May 2, 2024 by Dakota PikeBooks for Babies! The Johnstown Teachers’ Association completed its annual Books for Babies donation drive. The goal of the Books for Babies program is to promote early literacy skills and family bonding for children before they enter school. Each year, the JTA collects new books and monetary donations from its generous members. The monetary donations are used to purchase more books and supplies for the drive.Approximately 340 books were donated or purchased with donations this year. The books were donated to the Nathan Littauer Birthing Center on April 23rd. JTA members Stephanie Di Visconti and Barb VanDerwerken delivered the book donations to the hospital.
