The support groups listed below are affiliated with Nathan Littauer Hospital and HealthLink Littauer.  For more information, contact the group’s leader or HealthLink Littauer.

Alzheimer’s Caregiver

Support and education for family members who care for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia.  Meetings are free and no enrollment is necessary.

Meets:  Monthly, 2nd Thursday, 4 p.m.

Better Breathers Club

Support and education for adults with chronic breathing conditions or lung diseases such as emphysema, bronchitis, asthma, or lung cancer.  Family members are also invited to attend. Meetings are free and no enrollment is necessary.

Meets:  Monthly (May-December), 2nd Thursday, 1 p.m.

Beyond Moms

Support for new mothers, their babies and loved ones.  Focus on breastfeeding and parenting, and how Mom’s can get the support they need to ensure a positive family experience.  Meetings are free and no enrollment is necessary.

Breastfeeding

Support for breastfeeding Moms and their babies.  Share experiences in a friendly and positive atmosphere, and be assisted by lactation professionals.  Meetings are free and no enrollment is necessary.

Meets:  Two Times Per Month

Chronic Disease Support Group

For anyone with an ongoing health condition such as diabetes, heart disease, COPD, chronic pain, obesity, depression, anxiety … or their caregivers.  Meetings are free and no enrollment is necessary.

Meets:  Monthly, 2nd Wednesday, 1 p.m.

Mother To Mother

Discussion group formed specifically for ‘mothers only.’  Relax in a casual, comfortable atmosphere where a variety of topics can be openly discussed between ‘moms.’

Parkinson’s

Support, advocacy and education for anyone with Parkinson’s or other neurological conditions and their caregivers.  Meetings are free and no enrollment is necessary.

Meets:  Monthly, 3rd Thursday, 2 p.m.

T.O.P.S. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly)

Provides support and information for those who have a desire to lose weight or maintain weight loss.  $32 annual membership fee.

Meets:  Weekly, Wednesdays, 5:30 p.m. (Weigh-ins begin 5 p.m.)

Women With Heart Disease
