Description: Obtains blood samples from patients for laboratory analysis using accepted clinical methods, taking into account the individual patient’s special physical, mental or age-related needs and performs processing of specimens.  

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prefer a two year degree from an accredited college.
  • Prefer Phlebotomy certification.
  • Possess one (1) month experience in the drawing of the blood samples from clinical patients.  This does not include on-the-job training.
  • Prefer six (6) months experience in the drawing of blood samples from clinical patients.  Possess good computer skills.

Status:  6:00am – 2:30pm (16 hours)

$17.96 – $20.09 per hour.  Experience differential after one year of service.  

Social Worker

Description:  The purpose of this position is to provide a social service program that meets the psychosocial needs of the individual resident which will provide services, based upon a comprehensive assessment, which will assure the maximum attainable quality of life for the residents, the residents emotional and physical well being, self determination, self respect and dignity taking into account the individual resident’s special physical or age-related needs.  The population served includes adult, geriatric residents.

  • Possess an Associate’s of Arts degree in Humanities and Social Services.
  • Prefer Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in social work or gerontology.  Holds a Master’s degree in social work or is a Certified Social Worker and has pertinent experience in a health care setting.
  • Possess a NYS drivers license.  Certified NYS Screener or obtains certificate within the first two months of employment.
  • Possess experience in long term care and/or healthcare.
  • Prefer experience in geriatric long term care.  Experience in areas such as Trauma Informed Care and Substance Abuse Disorder treatment preferred.  Experience with discharge planning process preferred.

Status:  8:00am – 4:30pm (40 hours)

From:  $25.14 to $36.45 per hour.  

Physical Therapy Assistant

Description:  The purpose of this job is to provide technical physical therapy services in accordance with patient care plans, department policies and procedures and within the scope of practice for Physical Therapy Assistants taking into account the individual patient’s special physical or age-related needs.

  • Possess high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess associate degree in physical therapy.
  • Possess a New York State license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

Status:  7:30am – 4:00pm (40 hours)

From:  $21.34 to $25.88 per hour.

Patient Registration Manager

Description:  The purpose of this job is to manage activities and personnel of Patient Registration/Admitting nd Patient Access Department.  Organizes procedures in accordance with the activities of other departments and hospital policy & procedures.  

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess a two (2) year degree from an accredited college.
  • Prefer Bachelor’s of Science Degree from an accredited college.
  • Posses three (3) years experience in Registration/Admissions or Patient Accounts.
  • Possess three (3) or more years of supervisory experience.

Business Systems Analyst

Description:  The Business Systems Analyst will be a member of the Information Services team and will support enterprise application and back-end processes related to build, roll-out, sustainability and support between hardware and software components.

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess an Associates Degree in Information Technology field or substitute job experience.
  • Prefer a Bachelors Degree and/or five (5) year managing and supporting enterprise applications in a healthcare environment.  Ability to identify unknowns, research solutions and use a deep technical acumen to bridge the management aspects of a portfolio of application and services for the organization.

Status:  7:30am – 4:00pm (40 hours)
