Description:  The purpose of this job is to provide technical physical therapy services in accordance with patient care plans, department policies and procedures and within the scope of practice for Physical Therapy Assistants taking into account the individual patient’s special physical or age-related needs.

  • Possess high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess associate degree in physical therapy.
  • Possess a New York State license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

Status:  7:30am – 4:00pm (Casual)

From:  $25.60 to $30.14 per hour.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

****There is a $10,000 sign on bonus for full time and $5,000 sign on bonus for part time Licensed Practical Nurse****

Description:  The Primary Care Services Licensed Practical Nurse is a care provider who assumes responsibility and accountability for their patients within the limits of their education and the Nurse Practice Act taking into account the individual patient’s special physical or age-related needs.  The limits of the Licensed Practical Nurse’s responsibility is defined by Hospital policy in keeping with the New York State Code, Rules and Regulations and the New York State Education Department.

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program or completion of required components to satisfy LPN licensing examination.
  • Valid New York State registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Basic Life Support within sixty (60) days of hire.
  • Possess current experience in venipuncture, administration of PFT’s, EKG’s, Nebulizer treatments, pulse oximetry and keyboarding.
  • Possess vaccine experience and familiarity with administering pediatric vaccinations.
  • Prefer one (1) or more year’s previous Physician Office experience or previous experience in an outpatient setting.

Status:   8:00am – 4:30pm (40 hours)

Rate of Pay:  $23.69 – $30.79 per hour.

Phlebotomist

Description: Obtains blood samples from patients for laboratory analysis using accepted clinical methods, taking into account the individual patient’s special physical, mental or age-related needs and performs processing of specimens. 

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prefer a two year degree from an accredited college.
  • Prefer phlebotomy certification.
  • Possess one (1) month experience in the drawing of the blood samples from clinical patients.  This does not include on the job training.
  • Prefer six (6) months experience in the drawing of blood samples from clinical patients.  Possess good computer skills.

Status:  5:00am – 1:30pm (40 hours)  

$17.96 – $20.09 per hour.  Experience differential after one (1) year of service.  

Health Information Management Inpatient Coder

Description:  The purpose of this job is to code and abstract inpatient, observation and clinic records utilizing the proper assignment of ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding.  Monitors quality of documentation.

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess a minimum of three (3) years experience, ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding in an acute care facility coding inpatient, ambulatory surgery or emergency room records if not RHIT, RHIA, CCS or other hospital coding credentialed.
  • Possess one (1) year experience in coding ER, inpatient or Day surgery records in an acute care facility if RHIT, RHIA, CCS or other hospital coding credentialed.
  • Possess successful completion of courses in Anatomy/Physiology, medical terminology and ICD-10 and CPT coding.
  • Prefer an Associate’s Degree in Health Information Technology; professional designation as a RHIT, RHIA or CCS.
  • Prefer three (3) years experience in ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding in an acute care facility if credentialed.
  • Prefer five (5) years experience in ICD-10 coding in an acute care facility if not credentialed.

Status:  Varied day shift hours (40 hours) – Hybrid Work Option Available.
