Description:  The purpose/goal of our program is to educate and assist individuals in a fair, accurate, impartial and linguistically appropriate manner to enroll and recertify individuals online in the New York State of Health Insurance Marketplace.

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Currently possess or ability to obtain licensure/certification from NYSDOH within two (2) months of transfer or hire.
  • Possess a valid NYS drivers license.
  • Proficient working in a Microsoft Office environment including Excel.  Ability to conduct research with attention to details.

Status:  8:30am – 5:00pm (40 hours)

From:  $18.85 to $21.85 hour.

Business Systems Analyst

Description:  The Business Systems Analyst will be a member of the Information Services team and will support enterprise application and back-end processes related to build, roll-out, sustainability and support between hardware and software components.

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess an Associates Degree in Information Technology field or substitute job experience.
  • Prefer a Bachelors Degree and/or five (5) year managing and supporting enterprise applications in a healthcare environment.  Ability to identify unknowns, research solutions and use a deep technical acumen to bridge the management aspects of a portfolio of application and services for the organization.

Status:  7:30am – 4:00pm (40 hours)

Health Information Management Director

Description:   The purpose of this job is to supervise and coordinate the activities of personnel engaged in transcribing, analyzing, compiling, coding, indexing and filing permanent medical records of patients.  Review records for completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards.  Prepares periodic statistical reports and compilations of the hospital’s medical activities.  Responds to requests for recorded medical information.  Work closely with Medical Staff to ensure accurate and complete records.

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Information Management.
  • Possess two (2) years management experience in Medical Records/HIM.
  • Prefer five (5) years of technical and supervisory experience.
  • Possess a working knowledge of regulations relating to the maintenance of patient records, policies regarding physician interactions with Medical Records/HIM.

Patient Access Representative

Description:  The purpose of this job is to perform all aspects of patient intake from scheduling appointments, insurance verification, pre-registration, pre-certification, medical necessity verification and copay/deductible collection.

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prefer one (1) or two (2) years of college with completion of an approved program in medical terminology.
  • Possess previous experience in health care delivery system with exposure to patient registration.
  • Prefer prior experience with patient scheduling or unit coordinator.  Knowledge of third party payors desired.

Status:  9:30am – 6:00pm (40 hours)

Security Officer

Description:  The purpose of this job is to enforce the rules, policies and regulations of the institutions as they relate to employees and other persons.  Patrols the building and grounds of the Hospital and Nursing Home and the Medical Arts Building to observe, prevent and report fire, theft, vandalism, accidents and unauthorized entry.

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prefer an Associate’s degree in Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, Homeland Security or related field.
  • Possess New York State Security Guard registration.  New York State Emergency Medical Technician preferred.
  • Possess two (2) years prior experience in a security position.  Must have completed eight (8) hour Security Officer pre-assignment training course.
  • Prefer experience in a healthcare facility.

Status:   Varied shifts (Casual)

From:  $18.49 to $21.49 per hour.
