Employee Health ManagerThe Employee Health Manager is the first-line manager, designated as the leader for the department and assigned staff, and having 24-hour responsibility and accountability for all departmental activities. This position has accountability to coordinate the processes for providing employee health services relative to provision of examinations, assessments, immunizations and testing for employee onboarding and NLH staff under the direction of the supervising physician. Also responsible for maintenance of employee health records and required reporting of communicable disease and increased incidence of infection among staff to OSHA and local health departments per New York State guidelines. EDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degreePREFERRED:Bachelor of Science Nursing degreePossess working knowledge of DNV, New York State Department of Health, OSHA, BBP Standard Employee Health requirements; DOH & EPA regulations relative to regulated medical waste.LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: Possess current NYS license for Registered Nurse. American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)EXPERIENCE: Possess three (3) years’ experience working in clinical medicine, occupational health clinic or urgent care.
