Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Nathan Littauer Primary/Specialty Care is seeking qualified CRNA for our main campus operating rooms, free standing endoscopy center.

The CRNA should be board certified or board eligible.  This is a CRNA-based model of care. Supervision per state requirement, will be done by the operating physician.  The CRNA should feel comfortable practicing independently.  As a full-service Anesthesia Department, we provide general, regional and MAC anesthesia for general surgery, ENT, OB / GYN, urology, dental, ophthalmology and basic endoscopy.  We do not perform major vascular, neurology, cardiac or neonatal procedures.  Our OB department does approximately 350 births per year.  Our CRNA’s perform labor epidurals, spinals, line placement and peripheral nerve blocks as needed.  We are willing to train a motivated applicant in these areas, therefore no prior experience is required.

For call taking providers, a 15-minute call back range is required.  The hospital will provide off campus housing if needed.  There are no in-house call requirements.  Call shifts vary based on staffing but typically range from 1:5 – 1:7. Call back is infrequent.

NLH is a 74-bed facility with 6 OR’s, 2 treatment rooms, cystoscopy suite and an off-site endoscopy center.

The site is located in the beautiful Adirondack Park, 40 minutes from Saratoga and 55 minutes from the Capital District (airports/trains, etc.).

Salary and benefits are very competitive. This is an ideal position for a candidate who is confident in their skills and willing to learn new skills while practicing autonomously within the full scope of their practice. We are a close group of providers who are highly respected throughout the hospital and take pride in working together as a team to help each other grow and succeed.

The following positions are currently open:
