The population served includes adult, geriatric residents.Possess an Associate’s of Arts degree in Humanities and Social Services.Prefer Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in social work or gerontology. Holds a Master’s degree in social work or is a Certified Social Worker and has pertinent experience in a health care setting.Possess a NYS drivers license. Certified NYS Screener or obtains certificate within the first two months of employment.Possess experience in long term care and/or healthcare.Prefer experience in geriatric long term care. Experience in areas such as Trauma Informed Care and Substance Abuse Disorder treatment preferred.
