EDUCATION: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent education. Successful completion of an accredited educational program for Surgical Technologist and/or Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program or completion of required components to satisfy LPN licensing examination. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: New York State Surgical Technologist Certification and/or Valid New York State registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six (6) months of hire or transfer. Endoscopy Assistant**There is a $5,000.00 sign-on bonus available for full-time Endoscopy Assistants**POSITION: ENDOSCOPY ASSISTANTJOB PURPOSE: The Endoscopy Assistant performs a variety of duties as a member of the surgical services team during the patient’s procedure, taking into account the individual patient’s special physical and/or age-related needs.
